The Business Community in Fort St. James works hard to meet the needs of residents and visitors. We have a wide variety of businesses ranging from retail to heavy industry.
The District of Fort St James is the regional service centre for a wide segment of British Columbia, from Mt Milligan in the east to Fort Babine in the West, and from Dog Creek in the south to the Yukon border in the north. We support industries such as mining, exploration, outback and eco tourism, aviation, forestry, to name a few.
We are proud to be the community which supports 5 First Nations for essential services, including a state-of-the-art hospital and regional campus of College of New Caledonia.
