Dr. Paul Stent was presented with the Key to the Community on Monday, June 4th at the District of Fort St. James Municipal Office. Acting Mayor Kris Nielsen, thanked Dr. Stent for his many years of service as a physician in Fort St. James. Dr. Stent and his wife Norma moved to Fort St. James in 1989 and were quickly adopted by the community. Since that time Dr. Stent improved healthcare in Fort St. James, delivered countless babies and contributed to many projects. Dr. Stent retired in 2015, he continues to take on locum work and fill in at the Fort St. James Medical Clinic.

When Council first introduced the Key to the Community award in 2016, Dr. Stent was one of the first names to come to mind. The presentation ceremony was attended by Council members, District staff, Doctors and clinic staff. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped celebrate Dr. Stent.
